    Hey guys,

After messing around with the JR map sensor and being "sorta happy" except for the occasional part throttle stumble, I got tired of the black tailpipe and too rich plugs even @ 41 base fuel pressure.

I got to thinking and JR's pressure was with a standard pump and I have the upgraded unit. I gambled and did THE OLD ONES Main rail fuel pressure regulator mod (drill a .035" relief orifice) and man she's running sweet as I ever dreamed now. Success at last!! Map sensor pulls the blower in smooth as anything and no more sooty tailpipe!! The BTC is one click from the right and I'm running 18BTDC. The only negative with the regulator mod is that the rail bleeds down when sitting so it usually takes just slightly longer for the car to start.

It seems to run best at right around 40 PSI under vaccuum. I can only guess it's bleeding off just enough of the excess pressure @ WOT, It's still a little rich in first gear when I floor it but it's much, much better. The bleed hole did the trick.
